Mobishine Detailing & Repair

Mobishine scammed me into paying $600 for a $300 service, and refuses to make it right. I never leave reviews, but I have to share my experience with Mobishine in hopes that you’ll learn from my awful experience. Do not trust this business! I booked a $600 Ultimate Detail with Mobishine for November 22 and paid a $50 deposit. My appointment got delayed several times due to mechanical issues and weather. Finally on December 16 Salim arranged for me to drive to VIDA Detailing in Champaign to receive the detailing service from a guy who works for Glow Spot IL. I don’t know why Salim couldn’t have one of his own employees do it, but in good faith, I brought my car to VIDA. While I was waiting during the 2.5 hour service, Salim texted me, asking me to Venmo him the remaining balance so he could pay his guy, because Salim was traveling overseas and needed to square things up before bedtime in his time zone. I explicitly confirmed at this point that I was paying for the full Ultimate Package with 1-year ceramic coating, which he confirmed. Again in good faith, I paid him the remaining $550. Upon picking up my car, the guy who’d detailed it told me that I’d actually only received a stan

My Car was absolutely dirty and disgusting and these guys cleaned it so well. Such good people, such an easy process. They gave me a same day appointment - amazing guys and amazing job. Sharing some before and after pictures to show how good they did.

Fair prices, excellent job and nice location! I recently visited Mobishine Detailing, and I was impressed by the overall experience. The team was friendly and professional, making the car wash process smooth and efficient. They offered competitive prices, which I found to be a great value for the quality of service provided. My car looked fantastic afterward! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a reliable car wash service."

Incredibly disappointing experience. I paid $150 for interior detailing; specifically asked them to clean the hard surfaces, carpets, seat belts, and stains on the seats. I was told they'd clean the interior with shampoo and steam extraction. What I received was a car with sticky, wet carpets, stains everywhere, and a strong artificial coconut odor. The interior and some of the outside were covered in dirty splatters that they didn't wipe up. They did not seem to have vacuumed because there was loose dirt and particles everywhere. They didn't even bother to lift up the rear seat belts to clean behind them; lifting each one reveals a dirty stripe. None of the hard surfaces were touched except for splatters from their drill brush; they only ran extraction on the driver's seat and certainly not the carpets; there's streaks all over the windshield... When I was picking up my car, they forgot to give me back my keys until I asked, and they stopped me from leaving until I scanned an NFC tag to leave a google review. Don't go here if you value your time or money.
